Description

Perched on top of a hill, with uninterrupted views of the Bohemian forest and rolling fields - this property is perfect for those seeking tranquility and contact with nature.

Receiving up to 8 guests, this spacious home has a familiar and cozy feeling. Beautifully renovated, it retains the rustic character of a forest cottage, with oak floors, a large open fireplace, vintage furniture, antique floor tiles, an interesting collection of art and curios, and a vast terrace and garden. Of course, it still has the modern comforts needed to make it a haven and place to recharge and connect with nature - in summer or winter.

The property has a cellar full of recently serviced bicycles that guests are welcome to use on local cycling trails of varying skill levels. Or, if you prefer, you can do one of the many beautiful forest walks and hikes or go hunting for berries and mushrooms like the locals. In the colder months, you can take advantage of nearby ski slopes (with lifts) in Karlstifft and Lipno.

The lovely countryside of the Czech Republic offers a perfect setting for enthusiasts of outdoor activities, and the property's location close to the Austrian border will allow you to take day trips to many charming villages in both countries.

You will enjoy complete silence and fresh air, while remaining just a few minutes' walk away from the picturesque village of Luznice. Groceries and other essentials are a 10-minute drive.

The beautiful Novohradske Hory region of Southern Bohemia is known for its forests, wildlife and picturesque cycling routes. The UNESCO World Heritage village of Cesky Krumlov is just a 30-minute drive away, while Lake Lipno, with its many attractions and ski slopes, is around a 45-minute drive.

South bohemian Gem!

Exquisite bohemian lodge, perfect to visit South Bohemia, Prague & Vienna. We loved the Villeroy & Boch service and the luxury of the lodge surrounded by woods and corn fields. We saw baby dears in the early morning hours! Thank you Darcy & Erik for having us. ”
