August 2023Wonderful
Anne's estate is exquisite both in its location and maintenance. It exudes character and is a gem for those interested in nature. Anne is a very reactive and helpful host who's deploying significant time to help in preparing and managing the stay. Many thanks! ”

July 2018Absolutely lovely beyond lovely !
As a family travelling from the east and west coasts of America, we happily greeted each other as we arrived in Gurthalougha. The rooms were impeccable. Bed linens perfect. Landscaping all crisp and healthy. Kitchen warm and inviting. As was the whole house. Together, we laughed, we talked, we sang songs and even did a magic show. We hired 3 lovely ladies to make fabulous breakfasts and one reunion dinner. Their culinary tastes were impeccable. Frank Farrell, the owner’s brother, became one of us as we traveled to different venues. He was splendid and very much appreciated by all of us ! Tipperary remains close to our heart ! ”

July 2017Absolutely Wonderful Stay
There are really not words to describe how incredibly beautiful the house and grounds are at Gurthalougha Castle. The pictures do not do this house justice...it is impeccably furnished yet comfortable and relaxing. Also it is quite large so if you have a large party you will not feel crowded at all. The grounds are extensive and beautiful and there is a lot of wildlife roaming nearby. It is lovely just to walk or ride a bike around the property. The lake is beautiful and we loved the boat ride we took directly from the dock on the property. Although the house is incredible the best part about the house are the people...Frank and Maureen are lovely and made our trip special and Anne was a pleasure to work with...we hope to return sometime in the future. ”
