Windcatcher Villa with a Private Beach

Built in a western style, with Southeast Asian influences, our three-bedroom, three-bathroom home offers the comforts of home with the ambiance of island living. Enjoy your own private staircase to our private beach, where you can admire the romantic, stunning sunsets each night. As the only private home on the island, this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity on Ko Lipe.

This waterfront property brings indoor/outdoor living to a new level. Open the windows and sliding doors and "The Windcatcher Villa" will do just that, catch the wind! After a long day of snorkeling, unwind on the patio with your favorite pour in hand and watch the beautiful boats in the reef dancing by.

Whip up a feast in the western-style kitchen, complete with hot and cold clean running water throughout.

There are three spacious bedrooms to choose from. The primary bedroom includes a king bed, wall-to-wall windows to enjoy sweeping water views, and sliding doors to the balcony with a spa-like ensuite bathroom with double vanities and a walk-in tiled shower.

The guest rooms include a king and queen bed and pristine, modern bathrooms. When you need additional sleeping space, the living room converts to a queen bed, and two floor mattresses are available.


Our villa offers all of the comforts of home and is a very tranquil place to be. If it's privacy you seek, this is the place for you. We also have a beautiful massage area on the main floor, with incredible views, that also doubles as a queen size bed.

Our home comfortably sleeps six adults and up to four children, depending on age and size. We do limit the total occupancy to not more than eight people total, including all adults and children. We are very proud of our home, and since we can not be there year-round to enjoy it, we have decided to share it with others.

If you are looking for a resort setting with lots of people, this is not the place for you. If you want to experience the peace and tranquility that Lipe offers, then this is the place for you. We welcome groups of two families that desire to stay under one roof, rather than multiple separate bungalows. Koh Lipe continues to develop, so If it's privacy you seek, this is one of the few truly private places left on the island.

Laundry service is available upon request, at an additional cost.

Our home is equipped with clean hot and cold water in every faucet and shower. This comes at a great cost, but we feel it is worth it. Your booking includes 1,000 liters of water per day. If you use any more than 1,000 liters you will need to pay in advance at the cost of 1 THB per Liter. We also supply 20 liters per day of complimentary drinking water in the cooler/heater in the kitchen. If you require more than this it will also be an additional 1 THB per liter.

We do provide house cleaning every day unless you ask us not to. Either way, our housekeepers will be on the property to maintain it. At a bare minimum, our staff will clean the common areas and bathrooms at least every other day. We do this as a courtesy and to maintain the home. The staff is not there to serve you, so please just allow them to do their jobs, and please be respectful.

Other services, such as daily room cleaning, laundry, and massage (seasonal, and based on availability), are also available upon request, at an additional cost. You will pay the fee directly to the person who provides the service.

Enjoy our home's comforts, including our four televisions with True Satelite TV with more than 150 channels to choose from.

We do have internet service, but since all of Lipe depends on cellular service for internet service, there are times that the signal is weak, or not available at all.

We have dogs and cats that live on the property. The dogs are good at staying out of the house, but the cats can be a little more persistent. They will stay out of the house if you keep the doors closed. But be aware of this if you have an allergy to cats.

Hat Yai and Trang Airports are a two hour drive to the pier where you can catch regular boats to the island.
