Outstanding property and fabulous location. Once in a great while to experience a unique property as well as close to all amenities of the area. The only comment I would make is it is listed as four bedrooms and three baths but the main house actually has four bedrooms and two full baths with a powder on the main floor for convenience. If traveling with couples who desire individual baths this was disappointing but for a family would be fine. Because we are older adults we did not use the optional garage apartment outside entrance which does have a full bath. Again a one of a kind experience just steeped in history of the building , its antiques' etc. and the owners history as well”

Niagara on the Lake

Our first time in the area, Niagara on the Lake is so unique, the town is great with amazing restaurants all over the place. There is a crazy amount on wineries all withing a couple miles of the house. Go to Zoom and rent a bike, they will point you to the best bike path that will take you right by more wineries than you could ever stop at, and it is an over-the-top beautiful ride. John, the homeowner provides a comprehensive guest guide that truly allowed us to make the best use of our time and only go to the places that have already been vetted by him. Our summer family get together for a week 2021

The owner John could not have been more pleasant and accommodating to deal with. They were exceptional hosts. This home radiates charm and warmth. It was like staying in a heritage museum in some regards, with all kinds of interesting art, antiques and antiquities. We used this as a hub for a family gathering for 4 couples. Central to everything in NOTL it was so easy to get out and about. The kitchen and dining room were central to our stay and were well suited with plenty of space for us to congregate. Great family trip in Ontario

This house is just beautiful, lots of artwork which seems to be a lot on the pictures but much nicer in person thanks to the high ceiling. The patio was enjoyable. The area is great close to Ontario Lake and all the vineyards and the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake which is so charming! We enjoyed the restaurants, the wine tastings, eating fresh fruits and vegetables from the farms and visiting Niagara Falls which is also pretty close. Overall, we had a wonderful trip!”

Restful Home and Interesting Destination

John and Liz were wonderful hosts and could not have been more helpful. The home is both upscale and eclectic which makes it, all by itself and along with its provenance, a delightful experience in artful design. Niagara on the Lake is an artistic destination and the Town is enchanting. There is lots to do and the dining is superb. Returning to this home was restful and relaxing. We highly recommend the Hosts, the Destination and the Home. ”

Good wineries in Canada.....you better believe it!

A home conveniently situated right in the center of Niagara- on- the- lake. A 5 minute drive from main street, 30 minutes from Niagara Falls and 90 minutes from Toronto. Activities included live theater, wineries galore, cycling the vineyards and enjoying Sunset beach on Lake Ontario as well as many dining options. John was a wonderful host.”
